Six security personnel were killed in the blast, the statement from the army's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.

In another incident, one security force member was killed during an exchange of fire with terrorists near Kech area of Balochistan, according to the statement.

No group has claimed responsibility for the two attacks yet.
