Balochistan govt finding it difficult to implement Coronavirus related protocols

| @indiablooms | May 14, 2021, at 02:41 am

Balochistan government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani on Tuesday said the BAP-led government is finding it difficult to implement the protocols needed to fight COVID-19.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Shahwani was quoted as saying by The Express Tribune the number of rising positive Covid cases in Balochistan has forced the provincial government to take measures to ensure implementation of guidelines laid out by the NCOC to contain the spread of coronavirus.

He said the decision of a complete lockdown will be made by NCOC as the situation is getting worse every day.

He said the Balochistan government is implementing restrictions from May 8 till May 16 across the province.

Pakistan has been witnessing a spike in COVID-19 cases in recent times.
