Nigeria: Almost 300 abducted girls freed
Abuja: As many as 300 Nigerian girls, who were abducted recently, have been freed, media reports said.
The girls were abducted by unidentified gunmen from their boarding school in Jangebe, Zamfara state, on Friday and taken to a forest, police earlier told BBC.
The region's governor confirmed their release with a tweet message.

Governor Bello Matawalle tweeted: "Alhamdulillah! It gladdens my heart to announce the release of the abducted students of GGSS Jangebe from captivity.
