Nigeria suspends Twitter ops 'indefinitely' for removing President's tweet
Abuja/IBNS: Nigeria on Friday suspended Twitter operations in the country for activities "capable of undermining Nigeria's corporate existence", media reports said.
The country's information ministry said the federal government had ''suspended (Twitter) indefinitely," an AFP report said quoting official statement.
The order came two days after the social media giant removed a tweet by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari's official account for breaking its regulations.
However, Twitter was still working in Nigeria soon after Friday's statement.
