Nordhaus, Romer get Nobel Prize in Economics
Oslo, Oct 8 (IBNS): In a significant announcement, the Nobel Prize in Economics was given to William Nordhaus for his work on climate economics and Paul Romer for his work on the endogenous growth theory on Monday.
The award winners were named by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
"The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2018 to William D. Nordhaus and Paul M. Romer," The Nobel Prize tweeted.
The award is given in the memory of Swedish philanthropist Alfred Nobel.
