Gwadar: Locals in Balochistan are on a warpath with the authorities against Chinese investments and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project in Gwadar recently.

Gwadar is a port city on the southwestern coast of Balochistan, Pakistan on the shores of the Arabian Sea opposite Oman.

Locals shouted anti-China slogans and condemned Islamabad for the decisions of the "selected" leader.

Images of the damaged vehicle of WAPDA officer Riaz Pathan can be seen that have gone viral on social media.

Locals also protested against the acts of Chinese trawlers.

In the videos, which have now gone viral, local women allege that they have no gas, no electricity and that their men are unable to get any fish from the sea due to fishing by Chinese trawlers.
