Former UPA minister meets Amit Shah, joi New Delhi, Jan 19 (ANI): Former UPA minister Krishna Tirath on Monday met BJP President Amit Shah and joined the party. Tirath said that she was impressed by the ideology of the party and added that she would be working towards the welfare of people. Tirath also said that her responsibilities shall be decided by the BJP's central leadership but her focus will mainly be at development. US warns Pak not to conduct terror attac New Delhi, Jan 19 (ANI): The United States has reportedly warned Pakistan not to conduct any terror attacks during US President Barack Obama's three day visit to India. Obama will be the Chief Guest at Republic Day celebration on January 26 at India Gate. Security Expert Major General (Retired) SR Sinho said that it is a wrong message by US as it has only warned Pak for the three days of Obama visit, instead it should have given a general warning in the nation's interest. Sinho added that the investigation agencies of US are scared, but India is a strong nation and it can take care of its guests' security. Ten water tankers deployed to tackle wat Rajkot, Jan 19 (ANI): Ten water tankers were sent to Kutch district in Gujarat to meet the water demands of the villagers. The tankers were flagged off from Rajkot city by state's water minister Vijay Rupani. Rupani added that the state government is fully prepared to tackle water supply problem during summer season. Three killed in violence in Bihar after Azizpur, Jan 19 (ANI): Three people have been killed in clashes which broke out in Azizpur area of Muzaffarpur city of Bihar after a missing boy's dead body was found buried. More than 20 houses of a community were set ablaze during a clash and at least 7 people were injured during the violence. Police and senior officials reached the spot in time and controlled the situation. Wipro quarterly profit beats estimates Bengaluru, Jan 17 (ANI): India's third-biggest software services company Wipro reported a near-9 percent rise in third-quarter profit, slightly ahead of analysts' forecasts, helped by a rise in clients' technology spending. The company said revenue from its IT services business is expected to be $1.8 billion to $1.85 billion in the January-March period, representing growth of up to 3.4 percent from the preceding quarter.
