Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Russia, took a tour of the EMERCOM which is an emergency disaster facility on Thursday. Officials accompanying him, briefed him about how the country handles civil disasters. EMERCOM houses 2 40,000 employees on operational duty daily and uses 62,000 equipment units to face the crisis.
