Giving details, Jalpaiguri Forest Ranger Sanjay Dutta said there were four persons out of which two managed to flee, adding the skin recovered is 9 feet long. Kansas shooting: Victim Srinivas Kuchibh Hyderabad, Feb 24 (ANI): A U.S. navy veteran on Thursday was charged with murder and attempted murder for opening fire in a crowded Kansas City area bar, killing one Indian man and wounding another Indian man and an American. Condemning the attack, dead victim Srinivas Kuchibhotla’s relative alleged that the attack was racially motivated and demanded the return of the body at earliest. Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla's grandd Manipur, Feb 24 (ANI): The first-ever floating elementary school in the northeastern province of Manipur has brought smiles on the face of hundreds of children, who due to financial crisis and communication problem were deprived of availing the basic education. Going a step ahead and as a mark of gesture for the young ones, Manipur's Governor Granddaughter distributed books, bags and study materials, including pen, pencils etc to the students of the floating school of India. Along with her grandmother Najma Heptulla, and mother Dr Rubina Heptulla, Nadia visited Sendra in Bishnupur district to attend an interaction programme with the students and guardians of the first ever Loktak Floating Elementary school. Expressing happiness over the gesture by her granddaughter, the Governor said it is not a charity it is a good gesture. CM Raje rollbacks power tariff for farme Jaipur, Feb 24 (ANI): Showing her liberal and sensitive attitude towards farmers, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has announced rollback of power tariff on agricultural connections retrospectively from September 2016. Earlier, the Electricity Regulatory Commission had introduced a hike of 25 paise per unit on agriculture connections from September 2016. Power tariff would be now 90 paise per unit for farmers having regular connections instead of Rs. 1.15 per unit.
