Relief Supplies from India reaches flash Kalutara, Galle, Matara (Sri Lanka), May 27 (ANI): As the catastrophic landslides and floods that have plagued Sri Lanka in the last three days, the Indian Government has provided relief material to the island nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed concerned departments to provide all necessary assistance to the country in its flood relief operations. This came after Colombo had requested New Delhi to provide assistance following major flooding and landslides in various parts of the country. Meanwhile, Indian Navy's medical and rescue teams are on work in the Sri Lankan city of Kalutara, amid major landslide and flooding in the region. Largest beach clean-up drive enters 86th Mumbai, May 27 (ANI): The Versova beach clean-up drive in Mumbai entered its 86th week after cleaning up of the beach was done on Saturday. Untill now, over a year ago Versova beach in the city was filled with about 500,000 tonnes of garbage and people had stopped going to 2.5 km-long beach.
