Gurugram (Haryana), Mar 31 (ANI): An automobile dealer in Gurugram was shot by three unknown assailants in attempt of extortion. The assailants informed the victim that they belong to a gang and handed over a paper slip with their demands before opening fire on his car. Around nine shots were fired by the criminals before fleeing the spot.  The police are investigating the case.

She said that she wanted to return but apart from security concerns, she was having a hectic time for her entry exams to Oxford, where she began studying degree in politics, philosophy and economics last year.

Now track status of your lost belongings

New Delhi: Rejoice for air travelers as they can now cut the hassle by getting the status of their baggage lost at airports on an Android app while just sitting at home. The EDP Cell of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has collaborated with Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) team to develop 'Lost and Found' functionality. The latest service is a part of UMANG app on Google’s Play Store under CISF section. The app enables air travelers to directly register complaints and get status of their lost and found items immediately. There was an app earlier, but it didn’t have the option of registering complaints.

Zoosk relaunches dating app ‘Lively’

New Delhi, Mar 19 (ANI): Online dating app Zoosk has launched experimental dating app ‘Lively’ which enable the users to connect with each other while playing trivia games. The new version of Lively is nothing like its previous edition with group video chat. After signing up with the app the team works to answer a series of 12 questions while discussing the answers over video in real-time. They can compare their scores with each other making online dating fun.

Amazon to sell groceries in France with

New Delhi, Mar 28 (ANI): Amazon.com signed a deal to sell Monoprix's upscale grocery goods in Paris, Fred Katayama reports. Monoprix will become the first French retailer to sell groceries via Amazon. A dedicated virtual store will make available Monoprix's goods via the Amazon Prime Now app or website. For now, sales will be limited to the greater Paris market, but Monoprix wouldn't rule out broadening the deal to other parts of France. The move follows Amazon's purchase of organic foods chain Whole Foods Market in the U.S. and a deal to sell goods from the British supermarket chain Morrisons. Amazon's stock rose at the market open Tuesday. Shares of the owner of Monoprix, Casino, soared amid speculation that the Amazon move could lead to a bigger deal.

H&M Q1 profit plunges, more price cuts a

New Delhi, Mar 28 (ANI): H&M on Tuesday warned that high inventories will carry price cuts into the second quarter, after the clothing retailer reported a 61 percent plunge in first quarter profit hurt by price cutting.  H&M had already warned it may not be pretty Markdowns due to weak demand in H&M's main brand stores would hit earnings, it said in February. Then came a quarterly sales fall of two percent. And now the clothing retailer has reported a 61 percent plunge in first quarter profit to 154 million dollars. Inventories had risen by a bigger-than-expected seven percent. And attempts to adapt to shoppers moving online meant 2018 was becoming ‘a transition year’. H&M stock has fallen by more than a half since November 2016.
