Indian market: Sensex recovers by 185.51 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday recovered by 185.51 points at at 40,469.70 on fresh buying in Energy, Telecom, Power and Oil and Gas stocks.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 55.60 points to 11,940.10.


The Sensex registered day's high and low at 40,544.13 and 40,290.21 points respectively.


The Nifty recorded day's high and low at 11,958.85 and 11,881.75 points respectively.
