Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday recovered by nine paise to 71.65 against the greenback on fresh selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit fell by four paise to 71.78 in opening trade, finally it closed positive at 71.65, up by 9 paise as compared to its last close.
The rupee registered day high and low at 71.81 and 71.61 respectively.
The Indian currency rose because of weak dollar against other world currencies, they added.
