Mumbai to host OTM from Feb 3

Mumbai/UNI: OTM - the largest travel trade show in Asia Pacific region-will be held between Feb 3 and 5 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon here.

For the first time ever, OTM has also launched an Adventure & Experiential Travel Zone, specially dedicated to the growing demand of immersive travel.

The zone will be dedicated to Trekking, Caving, Parasailing, Flyboarding, Skydiving, Flying Fox/Zip Line, Rock Climbing, Bungee Jumping, Scuba Diving, Paragliding, Kayaking, Surfing, River Rafting, Hot Air Ballooning, Wildlife Safari/Bird Watching, Cycling, Camping, and much more.

OTM has yet again brought the biggest names in the travel industry under one roof – Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Egypt, Fiji, Greece, Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Nepal, Palestine, Romania, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand. Over a 1,000 other exhibitors including hotels, destination management companies, travel tech companies, airlines and cruise companies.

VFS Global has come onboard as the Official Partner of OTM 2020, a release said.

OTM, trusted by 1,000+ exhibitors from 60 countries, provides instant access to not only Mumbai and Western India, which is a contributor of a quarter of all India market, but also the vastly lucrative South India market that is over 40% of the Indian pie.

On the domestic front, almost 30 State Tourism Boards and Union Territories plan to participate with a significant number of private stakeholders – Andaman & Nicobar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

Over 700 top travel trade buyers consisting of India’s biggest travel agents and tour operators will be visiting the show. MICE buyers, wedding planners and top production houses will also be present to interact with destinations at OTM.

Tie-ups with travel trade associations such as OTOAI, ADTOI, TAFI, ETAA, TAAI, IATO, NIMA, EEMA, SIGTOA, TAAP, TAAN, GTAA, TAG and RAAG have also been made to attract top buyers from all over India. International buyers from countries such as Australia, France, Spain, USA, Canada, Georgia, Romania, Poland, Italy, Israel, Bulgaria, Mexico, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and many others will attend the show, it added.
