New Delhi/IBNS: For the second consecutive day, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is giving the details of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Rs. 20 lakh crore package on Thursday. 

Right at the start of the press briefing, Sitharaman said she will speak about the mega stimulus package will benefit the migrant workers, farmers, street vendors and small traders.

Sitharaman is accompanied by her junior minister Anurag Thakur.

Announcements

63 lakh loans of Rs. 86,600 crore approved in agriculture between 1.3.2020 and 30.4.2020.

Refinancing of Rs. 29,500 crore provided by NABARD to Cooperative Banks and Regional Rural Banks in March 2020.

Support of Rs. 4,200 crore provided under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund to States during March, 2020 for rural infrastructure.

Working capital limit of Rs. 6,700 crore sanctioned for procurement of agriculture produce to State Government entities since March, 2020.

25 lakh kisan credit card with the loan limit of Rs. 25,000 cr sanctioned.

Govt permitted State Governments to utilise SDRF for setting up shelter for migrants.

'Government Committed to the welfare of Workers," said Sitharaman at the press conference. 

Extending EPF Support for business and organised workers for another 3 months for salary months of June, July and August 2020 - will provide liquidity for workers in MSME and other Businesses: Sitharaman announced. 

Free Food grain supply to migrant workers for 2 months. "About 8 crores migrants to benefit from this and Rs. 3500  Crore will be spent on this intervention for 2 months," said the FM. 

Public Distribution Ration Card can be used anywhere in the country. "One Nation, One Ration Card will be implemented by March, 2021," said Sitharaman. 

Migrant Workers or Urban Poor to have Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHC): Government will launch a scheme under PMAY. 

Government of India will provide Interest subvention of 2% for prompt #MUDRA-Shishu  Loans payees for a period of 12 months. Relief of Rs 1500 cr to MUDRA-Shishu loanees.

Government to support nearly 50 lakh street vendors with Rs 5000 cr Special Credit Facility.

Credit Link Subsidy sceheme has been extended for one year to March, 2021 to benefit middle class people with an annual income of Rs. 6 to 18 lakh in the housing sector. 

To create job opportunities for Tribals or Adivasis -Plans worth Rs 6000 crores to be approved shortly under Compensatory Afforestation Management & Planning Authority (CAMPA) Funds. 

To benefit  around 3 crore farmers, mostly small and marginal farmers, Govt announces Rs 30,000 crores Additional Emergency Working Capital Funding through NABARD.

Rs 2 lakh crore Concessional credit boost to 2.5 crore farmers through Kisan Credit Cards; Fishermen and Animal Husbandry farmers will also be included in this drive.
