LPG cylinder prices increased slightly for July

New Delhi/UNI: The price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders was increased marginally from Wednesday, i.e. July 1.

According to the Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest oil marketing company, the market price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has increased to Rs 594 from July 1 in the national capital. Earlier in June, it was priced at Rs 593.

LPG prices have been increased for the second consecutive month. In June, its price was raised by Rs 11.50 per cylinder in Delhi. The price of LPG is reviewed on a monthly basis.

LPG cylinders have also become costlier in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai since today. Its price has increased by Rs 4.5 to reach Rs 620.50 in Kolkata, by Rs 3.50 to Rs 594 in Mumbai and by Rs 4 to Rs 610.50 in Chennai.

The 19 kg commercial cylinder used in hotels, restaurants, etc. has been cheaper by four rupees in Delhi, while its prices have increased in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. Its price in Delhi has come down from Rs 1,139.50 to Rs 1,135.50.

Its value has risen by Rs 4 to Rs 1,197.50 in Kolkata, Rs 3 to Rs 1,090.50 in Mumbai and Re 1 to Rs 1,255 in Chennai.
