Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday drifted lower by 9 paise at 73.54 against the US Dollar on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
A local unit was seen weak in opening session because of strong Dollar against other world currencies amid negative stock market in opening session, dealer informed.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.57 and 73.51 respectively, he added.
