Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Tuesday eased further by eight paise to close at 73.35 against the US Dollar on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that fell by 14 paise to 73.41 in opening trade, slightly improved from opening level but ended in negative only at 73.38, sliding by 8 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee was seen weak owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid positive equity market, dealers added.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.45 and 73.30 respectively, he added.
