Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday declined by 17 paise at 73.77 against the US Dollar in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit eased on strong Dollar against other world currencies amid weak opening in the stock market, they said.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.80 and 73.75 respectively, he added.
