Mumbai/UNI: Commercial vehicle major, Ashok Leyland has reported 1 pc increase in sales during October 2020 at 9989 units as against 9862 units in October 2019.
Domestic sales was 2 pc lower in October 2020 at 8885 units as compared to 9079 units in October 2019, company release said.
LCV sales was up 14 pc at 5401 units in October 2020 as against 4731 units in October 2019. Domestic LCV sales increased 1 pc YoY to 5004 units during October 2020, as compared to 4509 units in October 2019.
M&HCV sales dropped 11 pc to 4588 units in October 2020, as against 5131 units in October 2019. M&HCV bus sales was down 65 pc to 567 units in October 2020 as compared to 1600 units in October 2019. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 14 pc at 4021 units, as against 3531 units in October 2019.
Domestic M&HCV sales was down 15 pc at 3881 units, as compared to 4570 units in October 2019. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 13 pc to 3762 units as against 3340 units in October 2019. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 90 pc to 119 units in October 2020, as compared to 1230 units in October 2019.
