Kolkata/IBNS: India’s leading multiplex chain, INOX Leisure Ltd, on Wednesday announced that it is all set to welcome back its movie lovers at six of its properties Quest, Swabhumi, City Centre 1, Metro, Madhyamgram and Liluah located across Kolkata and Howrah from Aug 5 and the rest will reopen as per operational readiness.

Besides making sure that the cinemas will be operated by a 100% vaccinated team, INOX is adhering to each and every instruction as prescribed in the notifications issued by the State Governments, the company said in a statement.

"We have curated a hygiene initiative called #SafetyFirst, which is a convergence of the measures prescribed by the Government authorities and additional measures implemented by us," it said.

Besides following the prescribed seating restrictions, the cinemas will be frequently deep cleaned and disinfection of all customer touch points including entrance, Box Office, lobbies, auditorium, F&B counters, restrooms and exit gates will be carried out.

This exclusively curated experience may be availed by the guests at the date and time of their choice, at any of the operational INOX cinemas across the country.

To make it a more memorable affair, INOX would allow the guests making the booking to choose the content of their choice, either from the current playlist, or an old blockbuster.

Furthermore, INOX is optimistic about their new F&B roadmap with the introduction of some new processes, including making their food available on online food ordering platforms, Swiggy and Zomato.
