Mumbai/UNI: Commercial vechie major, Ashok Leyland has reported a rise of 48 percent in August 2021 sales at 9360 units in August 2021 as against 6325 units in August 2020.
Domestic sales was 44 per cent higher in August 2021 at 8400 units as compared to 5824 units in August 2020.
LCV sales was up 27 per cent at 4728 units in August 2021 as against 3736 units in August 2020. Domestic LCV sales increased 23 per cent to 4414 units during August 2021, as compared to 3602 units in August 2020.
M&HCV sales increased 79 per cent to 4632 units in August 2021, as against 2589 units in August 2020. M&HCV bus sales was up 7 per cent to 335 units in August 2021 as compared to 313 units in August 2020. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 89 per cent to 4297 units, as against 2276 units in August 2020.
Domestic M&HCV sales was up 79 per cent at 3986 units, as compared to 2222 units in August 2020.
Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 80 per cent to 3845 units in August 2021 as against 2132 units in August 2020. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 57 per cent to 141 units in August 2021, as compared to 90 units in August 2020.
