Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday remained weak for the third straight session as it declined by ten paise at 74.14, one month low against the US Dollar on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
A local unit that dropped 13 paise at 73.17 in opening trade, ended negative only at 74.14, sliding by ten paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee remained weak due to strong dollar against other world currencies amid negative equity market, dealer said.
The local unit registered days high and low at 74.19 and 74.10 respectively.
