Shimla/UNI:  Himachal Pradesh GST collection registered a growth of 11 percent in September 2021 as compared to the corresponding month of the last financial year.

A spokesman of the state government said the GST collections in September 2021 stand at Rs. 352.69 crores in comparison to Rs. 316.56 crores in September 2020.

The cumulative GST collections in September of FY 21 stand at Rs. 2,093.65 crores which is 58 percent higher as compared to Rs. 1,320.28 crores during the same month of last financial year

The State GST revenues have continuously registered positive growth in the current financial year, the spokesman said.

Some of the important factors for maintaining the positive growth rate are monitoring of top taxpayers, performance monitoring of field functionaries, effective enforcement activities by the department and physical verifications of e-way bills, he said.
