L&T's construction arm bags large contract in Odisha
Mumbai/IBNS: The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro has secured a large order for its Buildings and Factories business from the Government of Odisha to construct clinical blocks and allied infrastructure for a state-of-the-art hospital in Cuttack.
The duration of this EPC project is 30 months, the company said in a BSE filing.
The project involves the construction of four clinical blocks (B+G+9 floors) comprising composite structural systems and other ancillary buildings with a total built-up area of 3.4 Mn Sqft, it added.
"The state-of-the-art facility will cover specialty departments such as Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Hepatology, Cardiology, Surgical blocks, Casualty, trauma Et general surgery with a total of 2058 beds," L&T said.
The scope of work includes Design and Execution of Architecture, Structure - Composite System, Electrical, VHT, ELV Systems covering data voice, BMS, ACS, CCTV, AV, PMS, NCS, QMS, AMS.
"It also includes a Car Park management system, Asset Management system, PHE system, HVAC, FPS covering water curtain system, High velocity water spray Et gas suppression system, MGPS, Steam Boilers, LPG, Kitchen Et Laundry Equipment, Automatic waste Et laundry system, Medical Pneumatic Tube Systems, Modular integrated OT, BMU System, Interior Works Et, Solar Panels for energy efficiency," according to the company.
The scope also includes Maintenance for 5 years. for VHT, Landscape, FAS, CCTV, ACS, AV Et AMS.
