Apollo Hospitals Q3FY22 net profit jumps 75 pc YoY to Rs 228 cr

India's largest private hospital chain, Apollo Hospitals, on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 228 crore, up 75 percent YoY in Q3FY22 against Rs 130.4 crore in Q3FY21.

 

Its standalone PAT grew 65 percent YoY to Rs 175.4 crore in Q3FY22 against Rs 106.2 crore in the third quarter previous year.

Consolidated revenues grew 32 percent YoY to Rs 363.89 crore in the period under review against Rs 275.98 crore in Q3FY21.

Standalone revenues grew 20 percent YoY to Rs 284.62 crore in Q3FY21 against Rs 236.70 crore in the same quarter last year.

"The third quarter of FY22 witnessed strong revival of non-COVID business, with volumes reaching pre-Covid levels, despite holiday seasonality and without significant contribution from international patients," Apollo said in a statement.

Healthcare services grew 24 percent YoY to Rs 1,539 crore in Q3FY22.

The non-Covid surgeries went up by 53 per cent to a total of 41,811 during the quarter as compared to 27,253 surgeries in the corresponding period last year.
