New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged on Friday.
According to price notification of Indian Oil Corporation, petrol in Delhi costs Rs 101.81 per litre while diesel Rs 93.07 per litre.
In Kolkata, petrol costs Rs 111.35 per litre while diesel Rs 96.22 per litre.
In Mumbai, a litre of petrol is available at Rs 116.72 while diesel is priced Rs 100.94 per litre.
In Chennai, petrol costs Rs 107.45 per litre while diesel Rs 97.52 per litre. The fuel prices were on freeze since November 4, 2021, but the record 137 days hiatus ended on March 22 with an 80 paise per litre increase in rates of petrol and diesel.
The oil companies had been increasing the petrol and diesel prices since then except on March 24.
Today is the second day during the past 10 days when fuel prices have remained unchanged.
