Mumbai: The Indian Rupee on Monday rallied 23 paise to close at 79.02 against the USD on selling of US Dollar from bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The domestic unit moved up 9 paise at 79.16 in early trade and closed at 79.02, rising 23 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 78.99 and 79.26 respectively against the US Dollar, dealer added.
