Indian Rupee Mumbai: The Rupee on Friday gained nine paise to close positive at 82.67 on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The domestic unit that was slipped by nine paise at 82.85 in early trade, erased earlier losses and ended positive at 82.67, advancing 9 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee improved owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong stock market.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 82.61 and 82.88 respectively.
