FMCG brand Rasna enters the health and wellness products sector with new sub-brand
Kolkata/IBNS: Rasna Private Limited (Rasna), one of the popular FMCG brands of India, catering to a global market, recently launched a sub-brand called 'Rasna Healthy Day' to enter the health and wellness products sector.
The launch was marked by digital campaigns with actors Mandira Bedi and Sonali Bendre.
The initial range of products include Honey, Quickie Soup, Choco Spread, and Protein Vita.
According to a release from the company -
The “Rasna Healthy Day Honey" is available in 20gm, 50gm, 100gm, 250gm, 500gm and 1 kg pack sizes; starts from Rs 20 for a 20gm pack.
The “Rasna Healthy Day Quickie Soup" is available in single and multi-packs (assorted), pricing starts with Rs.10 for a single-serve pack.
The “Rasna Healthy Day Choco Spread” is available in 15gm, 75gm, 225gm packs with a single serve pack available at Rs. 10.
The “Healthy Day Protein Vita” is a malt-based chocolate drink and comes in chocolate and vanilla flavours; available in pack sizes of 12gm, 200gm and 400gm with a single serve pack available at Rs 10.
Group Chairman of Rasna, Piruz Khambatta said, “We have launched Rasna Healthy Day to meet the growing demand for health products in India, at a very affordable price.”
Arzeen Khambatta, Director of Rasna Pvt Ltd, said that to popularise the new sub-brand, the company is looking at releasing advertisements in both print and visual mediums and through new merchandising models in general trade (GT) and modern trade (MT) channels.
The new range of products, according to the company, are available across major retailers as well as through their network of stockists and sub-stockists, and online.
