Mumbai: The Rupee on Tuesday slipped 15 paise to close at 81.76 against the US Dollar. The slide is likely due to rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit that dropped 18 paise at 81.79 in early trade, slightly improved from opening level and finished at 81.76, declining 15 paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee recorded intra day high and low at 81.72 and 81.84 respectively.
