New Delhi: India Vision Institute's CEO Vinod Daniel has won the  India Australia Business Community Alliance (IABCA) 2023  Social Impact Award.
The Award is instituted by the India-Australia Business Community Alliance (IABCA).

This is the first time that IABCA has brought the annual Awards event to India.

Daniel received the Award from Australia's High Commissioner to India, Barry O'Farrell, at an event in Delhi this week as part of IABCA's India Immersion Week celebrations in India.

Daniel said, “I thank IABCA for recognising our work of providing the Gift of Sight to tens of thousands of Indians. I am humbled and pleased to have won the Award.”

“Since its founding in 2012, IVI has worked across 22 states in India, providing access to vision careening and corrective glasses to nearly 900,000 people,” he added.

Daniel won the Award in the ‘Social Impact’ category among several finalists.
