Maninderjit Kala, Kashmiri entrepreneur, ranks Among top 100 Australian entrepreneurs with KnG Group
Maninderjit Kala, also known as Mannu Kala, has risen to become one of Australia's top entrepreneurs after initially pursuing a master's degree in journalism in Australia in 2009.
From being a TV journalism enthusiast, Mannu aspired to become a well-known face in the media industry. However, his journey took an unexpected turn towards entrepreneurship, the Kashmir Monitor.
Now, in 2023, Mannu Kala has achieved remarkable success and has been recognized as one of Australia's top 100 entrepreneurs.
As a co-owner of KnG Group, he was ranked 14th among the country's best entrepreneurs this year. KnG Group encompasses various industries, including healthcare, education, tech and cyber security, and home care.
Mannu's entrepreneurial journey began in his hometown of Khojabagh, Baramulla, before he moved to Australia to pursue his journalism career. He attributes his leadership qualities and entrepreneurial mindset to his time in Australia, where they were nurtured.
KnG Group, founded in 2020 by Mannu Kala and Dr. Anuj Gupta, was initially created to provide innovative solutions in response to the challenges posed by the pandemic. Their healthcare division, Covax Australia, has now become KnG Healthcare and is part of the conglomerate known as The KnG Group.
The group works on various government projects in healthcare, education, nursing homes, cyber security, technology, and the energy sector.
Mannu's path to success has not been without its challenges. Before establishing Australia's leading firm, he worked on multiple ventures.
In 2011, he started a firm called Dynamic Pathology, followed by Medlab Pathology in 2016, which made significant contributions to the field of pathology. Mannu's resilience and determination as a Kashmiri have played a crucial role in his success.
Today, Mannu Kala's company stands as a prominent and award-winning firm in Australia, known for its creativity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. He aims to continue working hard and contribute positively to his valley by promoting its strengths.
