India's May services exports show 7.7% growth to $27.06 billion, says RBI
Mumbai: India's services exports in May increased by 7.7% year-on-year to $27.06 billion, while imports rose by 2% to $15.5 billion, according to provisional data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday.
These figures differ slightly from the government's initial estimates released in mid-June, which had reported services exports at $25.3 billion and services imports at $13.53 billion.
It's important to note that the RBI's numbers are provisional and subject to further updates.
Final figures are typically published quarterly as part of India's overall balance-of-payments data.
