PNC Infratech-led consortia declared lowest bidders for 2 NHAI road EPC projects

New Delhi: July 30 (IBNS): Two PNC Infratech Limited-led joint ventures have been declared the lowest Bidders for two roads projects of National Highways Authority of India for an aggregate project cost of Rs. 1,506.84 crores.

The projects involve rehabilitation and augmentation of four laning of Koilwar - Bhojpur and Bhojpur - Buxar sections of NH-84 in the state of Bihar, under NHDP Phase III, to be executed on EPC basis.

In response to the bids invited by NHAI, three firms including the PNC Infratech-led JVs submitted their bids on July 21 for each project.

"The price bids of the two projects were opened on Tuesday, July 28, with the PNCSPSCPL JV’s bids being the lowest in both for Rs. 825.17 and Rs. 681.67 crores, respectively. PNC’s share in the JVs is 55% for Koilwar - Bhojpur package and 70% for the Bhojpur - Buxar package, with the balance being with S P Singla Constructions Pvt. Ltd. (SPSCPL)," read a statement issues by the company.
