Ola launches 'Swachh Car Abhiyan' ahead of the Swachh Bharat Diwas

Kolkata, Oct 1 (IBNS): Ahead of the ‘Swachh Bharat Diwas’ tomorrow, Ola, India's most popular mobile app for personal transportation, on Thursday announced the launch of the ‘Swachh Car Abhiyan’ for drivers on its platform.

Hundreds of thousands of driver partners on the Ola platform ranging from cabs, auto-rickshaws to taxis, offer their services to millions of customers who request a ride from the Ola app. This initiative will encourage drivers and customers alike to contribute to a cleaner India.

The initiative has been taken by Ola to promote cleanliness amongst the drivers’ community.

In its first phase, the initiative will be live in four major cities of the country including Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata and  Mumbai

Speaking about the initiative, Pranay Jivrajka, Chief Operating Officer at Ola said, “At Ola, we take extreme care towards helping driver partners deliver consistent experience to customers, beyond the technology platform. Training, audit and cleanliness has always been at the forefront for improved customer experience and is integral to skilling our partners as professionals in the long run. We join the country in promoting the message of cleanliness on this august occasion and we are confident that drivers and customers will participate in this on-going program by doing their bit."
