New Delhi, Feb 29 (IBNS) Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday said the Union Budget, which he presented in the Parliament, deals with the reality of India.

"This budget deals with the reality of India," Jaitley said while addressinf a press conference here.

"Reality of India is that in today's set up agriculture sector, physical infrastructure, rural sector all needed to be looked into," he said.

He said agriculture has been given the top most priority in the Union Budget.

"Budget 2016 contains the largest ever simplification in tax laws," he said.

Jaitley said: "We have achieved a better divestment target in last 21 months than any Government in the past."

Jaitley on Monday presented the Union Budget 2016 focusing on rural development and farm and social sector while offering some relief to tax payers as analysts see it as a pro-poor budget with big ideas which is a challenge for the government to implement.
