Petrol, diesel prices slashed
Retail selling price of petrol was cut by 74 paise a litre and diesel was slashed by Rs. 1.30 a litre.
" Decrease in Retail Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 0.74/litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Petrol in Delhi will become Rs. 61.13/litre," state-run Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC) said in a statement.
"Decrease in Retail Selling Price of Diesel by Rs. 1.30/litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Diesel in Delhi will become Rs. 48.01/litre," it said.
The new prices will be effective from midnight tonight.
