Lava strengthens its leadership team to stay ahead of the curve

New Delhi/ Kolkata, June 20 (IBNS) LAVA International Limited,an Indian brand , begins a new chapter in its growth story by announcing the appointment of two senior executives in the organization.

With a committed approach towards the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ initiatives, Lava has appointed a Chief Technology Officer and a Design Head, in order to support its efforts towards making valuable technologies accessible in terms of availability, affordability and usability - which is in line with Lava’s brand values of trust and reliability.

The appointment of Rahul Agarwal as the Chief Technology Officer and Ankit Pal as the Design Head, has been strategically timed to fulfill Lava’s growth agenda and further bring innovative products and relevant services to customers.

Rahul will be providing leadership towards developing mobile enabled software platforms and new enterprise initiatives, products and services. He will be responsible to spearhead Lava’s entry into services sector spanning entertainment, education, agriculture and health verticals. 

Prior to joining Lava, Rahul has started/worked with several start-ups and built products and platforms in Online Real Estate, Online Education, Lead Generation, Ad networks, E-Governance and Data Analytics. In his last assignment, he was the Head of Engineering at India Homes. Rahul has a dual degree (BTech + M.Tech) from IIT Delhi.

Ankit on the other hand, will be responsible for steering Lava’s mobile phone design roadmap in India which will enable the organization in establishing an eco-system for mobile phone manufacturing in the country. Ankit has more a decade of experience and has worked with some of the leading companies in semiconductor industry including Cypress and Freescale. He has worked in hardware design and product management across geographies such as China, Japan, US, Europe and India. He has contributed significantly towards innovation & reference design development and has been honored with 6 patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Ankit is a Bronze medalist in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and a Gold medalist in Masters from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
