Mumbai, Aug 1 (IBNS): JetPrivilege, the loyalty and rewards programme and the frequent flyer programme of Jet Airways, has achieved the milestone figure of five million members. Celebrating this achievement, JetPrivilege will make a monetary donation equivalent to five million JPMiles to two Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) - Nanhi Kali and Save The Children India.

The donation will be divided equally between the two organizations.

JetPrivilege members are also invited to donate their JPMiles towards the mentioned NGOs for a week between August 01 and August 07, 2016. The ‘member-donated’ JPMiles will be converted into Indian currency along with their pledged donation, which will be handed over to the respective NGOs.

Save The Children India is a non-governmental organization that works towards the empowerment of underprivileged children and women, through health, vocational training and education programmes. Nanhi Kali supports the education of underprivileged girl children in India by providing academic, material and social support to enable the disadvantaged girls to access good education.

JetPrivilege members can make their donations to any of the two or both NGOs online at rewardstore.jetprivilege.com.

Manish Dureja, Managing Director, JetPrivilege, said, “Since our inception, we have dedicated ourselves to earning the trust and respect of all our stakeholders including society in which we operate.  In this respect, and to celebrate our achievement, we are proud to collaborate with Save The Children India and Nanhi Kali to prioritize the well-being of children in Indian communities and schools. We believe educating and empowering children is one of the most powerful platforms to bring about positive change in our community and country.”
