Shri Jaikish, General Manager and Officer-in-Charge, RBI, Foreign Exchange Department inaugurated the event.
The coin mela at Panaji saw participation from over 80 retailers including chemists, restaurant owners, stationery & general store owners along with Goa Urban Co-op Bank Ltd and Union Bank Ltd.
They exchanged coins worth Rs. 8 lakh in the denomination of Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1.
