Birla Corporation Cement organises dealers meet in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sept 16 (IBNS): Buniyad 2016, the first Regional Channel Partners’ Conference for Eastern India of Birla Corporation Limited, the flagship Company of the M P Birla Group and cement major, was held in Kolkata, on Thursday.


Nearly 600 dealers attended the conference.

In his address, Harsh V Lodha, Chairman, referred to the legacy of M P Birla and Priyamvada Birla. He urged the channel partners to give their best to take the Company forward.

The channel partners were also addressed by Pracheta Majumdar, Wholetime Director designated as Chief Management Advisor, and Sandip Ranjan Ghose, Executive President, Sales, Marketing and Logistics.

Both of them referred to the distinguished heritage of the company and highlighting the superior quality of the company’s cement brands, they said the channel partners should help the products gain their rightful place in the premium end of the market.

They emphasized that with help from the dealers, the Birla Corporation Limited would become the “Most Admired and Respected Cement Company” in its identified markets. A cultural programme followed the deliberations.
