Indian benchmark indices close flat on Friday
Mumbai, Oct 14 (IBNS): Indian markets could not take advantage of the strong positive global cues on Friday and ended falt, according to media reports.
Sensex gained 30.49 points at 27673.60 and Nifty gained 10.05 points at 8583.40.
The equity benchmarks lost over a per cent for the week ending Friday.
Some of the key stocks that gained on Friday were GAIL, L&T, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, ONGC and Adani Ports, while HDFC, Lupin, Zee Entertainment, Infosys and HUL were some of the stocks that lagged.
