Acer launches Iconia A1-713 PC tablet

New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS): PC vendor Acer India announced the launch of its lightweight, stylish and compact 17.78 cm (7 inch) tablet PC-the Acer Iconia A1-713.
The tablet runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to 4.4 (Kitkat). 
 
The 17.78 cm (7 inch) Iconia A1-713 tablet boasts of a display resolution of 1024x600 pixels with wide viewing angles. 
 
Powered by a Quad Core Cortex A7 1.3 GHz processor, the tablet delivers fast speed and ultra- responsive performance.
 
Announcing the launch, S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, said, “Over the last year, Internet access has received a huge boost and has changed the dynamics of the Indian tablet market significantly. Popularity of the Android ecosystem, coupled with affordable data tariffs and improved reach of service has driven the demand for tablet PCs in the country. Witnessing the growth in demand for this form factor, we introduced a device that offers the functionality of a laptop and the portability of smartphones - the Acer ICONIA A1-713 is an ideal device for consumers looking to enjoy mobile entertainment.”
