Cash withdrawal limits to end from Mar 13, says RBI

Mumbai, Feb 8 (IBNS): The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday announced people can withdraw Rs. 50,000 per week from their savings accounts from Feb 20.

The bank said all caps on access to cash will end from Mar 13.

Currently, people can withdraw Rs 24,000 from their bank accounts in a week.

Restrictions were imposed after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Nov 8 annoucned banning of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.
