TCS recognized as 'BPO Firm of the Year' at prestigious industry honors
In a competitive awards program, from which 129 entrants from 23 countries were short listed from a range of world class companies, TCS was judged the BPO leader in the region.
With Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) already a well-established destination for Shared Services centers and BPO investment, this award is a highly coveted recognition of TCS’ growing presence in the region, servicing leading organizations from a range of sectors. The sector is estimated to contribute 67 billion euros to the economies in the CEE region, with the total outsourcing headcount reaching around 3.8 million people.
Judged by an independent jury of industry experts, TCS’ Head of the Budapest Delivery Center, Prabal Datta was also recognized as the ‘Business Center Manager of The Year’ award.
Prabal Datta at TCS commented: “We’re passionate about providing businesses with the tools and support to help them compete in the digital economy. With Central and Eastern Europe offering some of the best-in-class outsourcing and shared service centers in the world, we’re truly honored to be awarded this year’s BPO Firm of the Year. I’m also thrilled to be named the ‘Business Center Manager of The Year’. This recognition has only been possible through the dedication and support from our brilliant team at TCS which continues to be focused on delivering outstanding services for our customers that help them realize the opportunities of the digital age.”
Thom Barnhardt, owner of CEE Business Media and organizer of the fifth annual CEE SSO awards, added: “The ‘BPO Firm of the Year’ award is one of our most prestigious accolades we bestow, and this year we’re delighted to recognize TCS for its outstanding achievements in the sector. We were particularly impressed by the depth and breadth of expertise TCS brings to bear for its clients, combined with a model that puts the customer front and center.
