Finance Minister Arun Jaitley tables GST Bill 2017 in the Parliament
New Delhi, Mar 27 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, on Monday, introduced the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill 2017 to the Parliament, according to media reports.
The four bills introduced include the Central GST Bill, the Integrated GST Bill, the Union Territory GST Bill, and the GST (Compensation to States) Bill.
The State GST Bill has to be passed by the state assemblies before it can be rolled out.
The government is keen to implement the GST bills from July 1, this year.
