Tata Steel baggs 12 awards at INSSAN 2014

New Delhi, Aug 27 (IBNS): Tata Steel bagged 12 awards at Indian National Suggestion Schemes Association (INSSAN) 2014, Northern India Chapter, New Delhi.

This was the 16th edition of the National Creativity Summit held in Delhi on August 22-23.

The theme of this year`s summit was ‘Employee Creativity for Growth in Turbulent Business Environment’.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was  H S Pati, Director Personnel, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

Guest of Honour Sudhanshu Pathak, Vice President, Steel Manufacturing Tata Steel, who is also the Chairman of suggestion box committee and INSSAN Eastern Region were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Pathak said, "We are very pleased to receive INSSAN Awards 2014 in various categories. It is a matter of pride for us and reinforces our commitment to pursue excellence in all areas of creativity."

Tata Steel had sent 27 entries in various categories such as Slogan, Poster, Poem & Essay contests, Technical Papers and Case Studies out of which 12 entries stood out as winners in INSSAN 2014.

INSSAN is a body dedicated to the promotion of Employee Involvement through Suggestions or Ideas.

It invites entries for Technical Papers, Case Studies, Slogans, Posters and various other competitions from different organisations.
