The product was unveiled by K.L.Murthy, Executive Director(Lubricants), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Head office Mumbai and R.K.Mohapatra, Executive Director, West Bengal State Office, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Kolkata. Servo Whitepol is technical grade white oil made from highly refined paraffinic base stocks and further purified through rigorous processes and control.
During the ceremony K.L.Murthy, ED(Lubes), Indian Oil enumerated the importance of this product and talked about the trust that Brand Servo brand stands for across the industry. Servo is the largest brand of lubricant in India enjoying the coveted Super Brand status for more than 15 years. In continuous pursuit of serving Indian industry, Indian Oil is doubling the production capacity of lubricants in next two years.
The Indian market of LLP is estimated to be approx. 2 Lac tons per annum.
R.K.Mohapatra, ED, WBSO, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Kolkata emphasized on need of structured business in GST era and invited all industry stake holders to source LLP from Indian Oil.
He elucidated the various initiatives taken by Indian Oil in state of West Bengal in last two years.
The ambitious Pradhan Matri Ujjawal Yojana (PMUY) was launched at West Bengal in August- 2016 and in eleven months Oil industry has distributed 2.5 crores LPG connections to under the poverty line people in the country so far.
Amitabh Akhauri, Chief General Manager (Lubricant Sales), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Mumbai emphasized the important of Make in India campaign and proclaimed that Servo Whitepol is the first 100 % Indian LLP as it is made from indigenously produced base oil from Indian Oil’s flagship Haldia refinery.
The Servo Whitepol is the perfect outcome of close knit marketing and R&D teams of Indian Oil. Mr. Rajesh Nambiar, General Manager(Institutional Lube Sales), WBSO, Indian Oil, Kolkata thanked all the stake holders and industry patrons in keeping faith in Indian oil and Servo as their first preferred choice of lubricants for past five decades.
