Kolkata, Jan 16 (IBNS): After a poor show in the last year, West Bengal Chief Minister is eyeing on to host a successful Bengal Global Business Summit 2017 starting from Tuesday in Kolkata.

The Summit will take place between Jan 16-17.

Unlike the last year's summit, the fourth BGBS will host eminent businessmen like L N Mittal, Mukesh Ambani, Sajjan Jindal.

Banerjee, during her UK visit last year, invited Mittal and got his confirmation. She had also invited Ambani by visiting his residence in Mumbai.

Jindal, whose cement factory was inaugurated in the state on Monday, is already in the state.

JSW Cement, producer of PSC cement in India and part of US$ 12 billion JSW Group, on Monday announced the inauguration of its 2.4 MTPA manufacturing unit at Salboni in West Bengal.

Though Union minister Nitin Gadkari was scheduled to attend the summit, he has cancelled his visit to the state post clashes between West Bengal ruling party Trinamool and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) few days ago.
